Caroline running guided meditation picture

Yoga Teacher

Caroline

Caroline from move with ease is a well-being practitioner specialising in persistent (chronic) pain recovery using clinical sports massage, myofascial release, breathwork (Buteyko coach), meditation, yoga and fascia movement and Pain Reprocessing Therapy. All these modalities soothe the nervous system, and reduce anxiety, stress and pain.

Guided Meditation

This session with guide you through a somatic meditation that begins by focusing on comfortable or neutral physical sensations in your body, cultivating calm curiosity before gently exploring areas of discomfort or pain. This meditation is an opportunity to develop a compassionate relationship with your body. By ‘making friends’ with physical sensations of discomfort and pain, you send reassuring messages to your subconscious that you are safe in the present moment. With regular practice, and through the principles of neuroplasticity, your brain will form new neural pathways associated with safety and calm, reducing the intensity of pain and discomfort over time.

Accessible Yoga

Enjoy a 30-minute yoga practice featuring gentle seated movements to enhance joint mobility, standing postures supported by a chair to build strength and balance, and slow, quiet breathing to promote relaxation and a deeply embodied experience.

Santana

Qigong and Sound Bath Practitioner

Santana

Santana teaches Qigong for Mobilates. With a back ground in Social Work and Dance, Santana had to take a long break after becoming swamped in injuries and illness related to hEDS and was a wheelchair user. After finding a way to regain strength and health through Qigong, she aims to share this experience with as many people as possible. She is a specialist in working with Trauma Survivors and has a strong understanding of how health difficulties impact our relationship with movement.

Qigong

Using Qigong we will work neuro-somatically to engage the cranial nerves in this fun session of Chinese movement. You will find a healthy balance of energy and relaxation through slow flowing movements, meditation and some self massage focusing on pressure points.

Sound Bath

Let your sense of hearing lull you into a deep relaxation session. Get comfy with pillows and blankets while the vibrations wash over you, bathing you in sounds. Take a journey with Santana guiding you to serenity with nature sounds, the hum of the gong and specifically tailored frequency from the singing bowls.

Yoga Teacher

Meg

Meg specialises in sharing yoga in the most inclusive and accessible way possible.

As someone in a plus size body; she has always been passionate about sharing practices that include all body types.  Yoga is not just for naturally slim or flexible bodies - it’s a holistic practice that can support our mind, body and soul, and it can meet you and your body exactly where you are today - in a chair, on a mat, in bed!

Seated Yoga

Meg will lead a session on the basic principles of yoga to introduce you to how it can help calm the mind, release tension in the body, and improve focus, clarity and self-connection.

Meg has lots of experience working with people who are new to yoga - so you don’t need any prior experience! Meg’s yoga sessions are focused on self kindness, and finding a way of practicing yoga that works for -you-.
