I have been part of Mobilates since 2022 when I met Leanne in my role as a volunteer for EDS UK. As soon as I met Leanne I knew I wanted to join in the fun.

Being an ambulatory powerchair means that lots of other physical activity is not available to me. Mobilates has helped me grow in strength and confidence as the new me within my limitations.

I volunteer for Mobilates because to give back just a tiny amount of what it has given me.

My role includes; editing can creating digital content, video library support and in class admin for our special classes. I also support the EDS classes, providing my lived experience and knowledge as an experienced member of Mobilates.

Having the opportunity to see people grow in strength and confidence is such a privilege.
