About
We're excited to introduce a brand-new Fitness Pilates programme coming soon to Mobilates.
Foundation & Flow is a progressive six-week programme designed to help participants develop confidence, improve movement quality and build a deeper understanding of Pilates in a calm, supportive environment.
Created following Suzanne's recent Fitness Pilates qualification, the programme focuses on much more than simply exercising. Through flowing movement, expert guidance and gradual progression, participants will explore the foundations of Pilates while developing strength, mobility, balance and body awareness.
Suitable for complete beginners, those returning to Pilates and existing members who would like to revisit the fundamentals, Foundations & Flow provides a structured learning journey that helps participants move with greater confidence and ease.
What will the six-week programme cover?
You'll gradually build the foundations of Fitness Pilates in a supportive, progressive way. Together we'll explore:
Alignment, Breath and Centering (ABC)
Diaphragmatic breathing and core awareness
Good posture, balance and body awareness
Functional strength and stability
Mobility and flexibility
Flowing movement sequences
Understanding the purpose behind each movement, helping you build confidence and technique
Relaxation and mindful breathing to finish each session
Each week builds on the last, giving you the opportunity to revisit key concepts, develop your confidence and experience your progress as the programme unfolds.
As well as the movement itself, there will be time before and after each class to ask questions, share experiences and get to know the other members of the group. Our aim is to create a relaxed and supportive learning environment where everyone feels comfortable to learn at their own pace.
